A-Level Automotive Technician

Barney Brothers Off Road & Repair – Grand Junction, CO

Barney Brothers Off Road & Repair has been a trusted name in automotive repair and off-road performance in Grand Junction since 2003. We are looking to add an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to our team.

Our shop works on everything from daily drivers and family vehicles to Jeep builds, suspension systems, and drivetrain repairs. A typical day could include vehicle diagnostics, suspension lift installations, brake repairs, or ring and pinion setups.

Schedule

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(No weekends)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair drivability and mechanical issues
  
  
• Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance
  
  
• Install suspension lifts and off-road components
  
  
• Perform drivetrain and ring & pinion work
  
  
• Complete digital inspections using Tekmetric tablets
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment
  
  
• Deliver high-quality repairs with minimal comebacks

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional automotive repair experience
  
  
• ASE Certifications preferred (Master Technician a plus)
  
  
• Strong diagnostic skills
  
  
• Experience working on multiple makes and models
  
  
• Basic welding skills preferred
  
  
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
  
  
• Ability to perform quality repairs efficiently
