Experienced Automotive Technician
Kerner’s Auto Service – Shelby Township, MI
Kerner’s Auto Service has proudly served Shelby Township since 1973. We are a very busy, fast-paced, full-service independent automotive repair facility specializing in all makes, all models, and advanced vehicle diagnostics.
We are currently looking for an experienced Automotive Technician who is confident in diagnostics, drivability, and complete vehicle repair from start to finish. We are looking to HIRE ASAP!
This position is ideal for a technician who:
- Is lacking consistent work at their current shop

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet ALL of the following:
- Minimum 5 years professional automotive repair experience
- Minimum 7 out of 9 ASE Certifications and/or Michigan State Certifications
- Strong diagnostic and drivability experience
- Experience working on all makes and models
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Perform complete vehicle diagnostics and repairs
- Diagnose electrical, drivability, engine, steering, suspension, and brake concerns
- Utilize scan tools, service information, and advanced diagnostic equipment daily
- Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Participate in ongoing paid training and development
